However, Smilemakers is no ordinary dentists office. Dr. Paul is incredibly skilled and caring. Jen, his assistant is especially attentive and reads body language and understands when you’re uncomfortable, even when you can’t speak.
Going there is like meeting up with friends and family every time I go. They want to make sure cowards like me are given extra attention and the usual trauma of a dentist chair is made less so.

I spent over 15 hours in his chair. One time 6.5 hours. Imagine the pain I went through. Well after the numbness wore off I had zero pain. In fact I ate stake.. him and his staff is second to none. He fixexed my mouth including every tooth to put in my bridge. I can now not be embarrassed to smile. Dr. Romwell and his staff are second to none. Plus my fiance's dentures were cracked and never fit right. He rebuilt them and they fit perfectly. 5 stars is an understatement. I give him 11. Dr. Your the best of the best and so is your staff"

"As a long time dental patient associated with Smilemakers Dental I found myself in need of a dental implant in place of one of my top molars. I had put this option off for several years and finally decided that I should get an implant. It's been over two weeks now since I had the implant put in. I found the implant procedure to be much less problem-some, less frightening and non painful than what I had expected from stories others had given me with their implant experience. I felt zero pain during the process. The normal dental pain deadening shots in the area of the procedure was all that was required to kill the pain involved in setting the implant. After leaving the dental office at Smilemakers in Pocatello, ID I was expecting to experience a few days of dull pain as others had told me would happen. Nothing like that happened and strangely I didn't feel the need to use any kind of pain medication. My next appointment is four months away to get set up for a crown to be eventually attached to the implant. I expect that procedure to be a piece-of-cake as the frightening yet painless part of my experience is already behind me. I feel that I made the correct choice in getting a good solid implant in place where my upper molar had been before. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing an implant for that missing tooth to consult with Dr. Paul Romriell at Smilemakers in Pocatello, ID. In my personal opinion you won't be disappointed and you will be happy that you did......Dan Allen"
